This Privacy Policy explains how TrulyRandom (“the App”) handles information when you use it.

Summary

TrulyRandom is designed to work primarily on your device. The App does not require account creation and does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking inside the App.

Information We Collect in the App

TrulyRandom does not collect personal information through the App for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Information Stored on Your Device

To make the App work as expected, TrulyRandom stores certain data locally on your device, such as:

• your saved custom lists and list items
• your app preferences, such as random number settings and team count
• whether you have dismissed introductory helper text
• daily free-tier usage counters
• widget-related settings and cached widget state
• premium unlock state stored locally for access control

This local data is used only to provide the App’s features and remember your choices.

Widgets and Shared App Data

TrulyRandom includes widgets that use app-group storage so the main app and widgets can access the same local state when needed.

This can include locally stored values such as:

• widget settings
• the latest displayed widget result
• Premium access state
• daily free-tier usage counters

This shared data remains on your device and is not used by TrulyRandom for advertising or tracking.

Premium Purchases

TrulyRandom offers a one-time Premium unlock through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchase processing, billing, and transaction handling are provided by Apple. TrulyRandom does not collect or store your payment card details.

The App may store a local record showing whether Premium is unlocked so that Premium features can be enabled on your device and restored appropriately.

Apple may also maintain purchase and transaction records under Apple’s own terms, policies, and App Store systems.

Sound and On-Device Processing

The App can play sound effects for features such as dice rolls, coin tosses, and wheel spins. These sound effects are generated and played locally on your device.

Support Messages

If you contact support, you may voluntarily provide information such as your email address and the contents of your message.

That information is used only to:

• respond to you
• troubleshoot your issue
• maintain reasonable support records

Support emails are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Data Sharing

TrulyRandom does not sell your personal information.

TrulyRandom does not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers through the App itself.

Apple may process information related to App Store purchases, downloads, and device-level services under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

Data Retention

Because most App data is stored locally on your device, it generally remains there until you delete it, remove the App, reset your device, or clear the relevant device storage.

Purchase records may continue to be maintained by Apple as part of your App Store purchase history.

If you contact support by email, your message and contact details may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, maintain support history, or comply with legal obligations.

Your Choices

You can:

• delete saved lists and other in-app content directly inside the App
• remove the App from your device to remove locally stored App data, subject to normal device behavior
• use Apple’s restore purchase flow if you previously bought the one-time Premium unlock
• contact support if you have questions about privacy or want help understanding what data is stored locally

Children’s Privacy

TrulyRandom is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If it changes, the updated version will be made available through the App listing, website, or other published support materials, with a revised effective date.
